Frequently Asked Questions

What is the EE System™?

The EE System™ (the Energy Enhancement System) was developed by Dr. Sandra Rose Michael. It is based on the principle that our body has an amazing ability to regenerate, rejuvenate, and revitalize if one gives it the environment necessary to do so. One can think of the system as a way to recharge the body (like a battery) to help it achieve its maximum potential. You can learn more about the EE System™ here . Why is the Center address not on the website?

The Bodega Cat Healing Center is a Private Membership Association and is not open to the public. The address posted on the website is our mailing address. Center address will be provided upon confirmation of appointment and payment of sessions.

Are there parking areas for the Center?

There is street parking during the day. One side of the street has street sweeping on Fridays at designated times. Please read the signs. City of Alhambra will tow cars if parked during street parking. There is gated parking for Night Session guests.

Does the Center service humans as well?

Although we primarily service cats, we do occasionally service humans (and dogs) as well when our schedule allows. Keep in mind, however, that even though we clean the Center on a regular basis, there are still remnants of cat furs in the Center. For those members who have allergies, we encourage them to come to our Center at their discretion and consult with their medical professionals. If needed, we are always happy to refer them to other Centers who service primarily humans.

What can I do to prepare for the session for me and my pet?

For pet parents, wear comfortable clothing. You might consider wearing socks as the Center requires members to remove their shoes during sessions. Pets are required to be in a carrier upon arrival to the Center. However, pets can be let out and free to roam around in the Center during the session. In addition, it is important for the member and the pet to drink a lot of water during and after the session to help the body detox. We suggest that you take it easy in terms of activities after the session. Allow the body (yours and your pet) to acclimate to the rejuvenation and increased energy.

How many sessions does my cat need to feel better?

Dr. Sandra Rose Michael suggests minimum of 2 hours for human sessions. Jason Shurka talked about a dog who had a tumor, stayed in the EE System for 3 nights, and the tumor subsequently was gone. Dr. Sandra recommends that the longer the exposure to EE System, the more benefit one experiences since the sessions are cumulative.

What do I do during the EE session with my pet?

Pets are considered an extension of the human family. They are like children. When kids are sick, they crave the affections, hugs, attention, and kisses of their parents. Cats (and dogs) are the same way. Consider this a bonding time between pet parents and their pets. There are cat toys, a cat tree, cat snacks, etc. in the Center to foster these loving interactions. For pets who are less active, pet parents are encouraged to meditate or take a nap with their pets. Pets LOVE to be brushed. Brushing is an excellent activity for bonding during the sessions. We keep the Center room dark with soft cat music during the session to provide the most optimal restorative opportunity.

My cat has a metal rod in his/her body. Will this interfere with the EE System™?

Dr. Sandra Rose Michael recently said in an interview that the EE System™ will not interfere with a person’s pacemaker. Therefore, it is safe to assume that it will not interfere with any metal or rods that might be in the pets’ body.

What is your pricing?

We offer $60 per hour per pet with one pet parent. Since we are a PMA (Private Membership Association), a membership donation of $10 per person per day or an annual donation of $100 per person per year is required. For more information regarding pricing, you can view our price list here.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept credit card payments, Cash, Check, or Silver.

Why are membership fees different for different Centers?

Each Center operates independently of each other. Membership fees for The Bodega Cat Healing Center help to support and maintain the infrastructure of the business (ie., website update, website hosting, staff salaries, etc.) and keep our prices affordable.

Will there be other cats other than mine during the session?

Occasionally we might put more than one cat from different families in the same EE session. This will be done with all pet parents’ permission and if the pets have the same behavioral disposition. For example, we will not put a behaviorally difficult cat (ie, aggressive cat) with another cat in the same session.

Does my cat have to be very sick in order to benefit from the EE System?

No. The EE System benefits pets on all levels of wellness and illness. Healthy cats can benefit from the sessions as it helps them recharge their battery from the inside out. For a list of common cat diseases, click here. The Center will not be able to accommodate pets with contagious diseases.

What is the difference between 4 units, 12 units, and other number of units?

The difference between the number of units is time. For example, a person in an 8 unit system might take a longer time to regenerate than a 24 unit system. It is important to note, however, that there are other factors involved when it comes to one’s journey towards health such as the severity of the illness, the length of time the illness has occurred, the person’s lifestyle, their mental and emotional temperament, as well as their spiritual and karmic dispositions.

What kind of amenities do you have for evening sessions?

Limited evening sessions are available. Evening sessions are from 8pm to 8am. The Center provides an inflatable Queen size mattress, bed sheets, 2 pillows, and blankets. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room. Hot water (for tea) and filtered drinking water is available in the kitchen 24/7. A private bathroom is available with a filtered showerhead for shower.

For our furry friends, there is dry cat food, water, cat snacks, cat litter, cat tree, and cat toys to keep the furry feline happy and occupied. Pet parents are encouraged to bring their favorite pillows, blankets, and other personal items as well as wet food for their furry babies. In addition, members are encouraged to submit prayer petitions/healing petitions on the Center alter and offer up prayers to the Higher Beings/Deities that members resonate with no matter what religion. Research has shown that prayer and meditation greatly enhance the healing process.
